Formerly known as Nexus Photo Viewer, USB Media Viewer allows users to conveniently view their JPEG and RAW photos from a USB flash drive or SD card on their Nexus, Pixel, or other Android 4.0+ devices with USB Host support.
Requirements
- A USB OTG Cable (Available for approximately $1-10 USD on Amazon)
- A USB Flash Drive or USB SD Card Reader and SD Card. See screenshots for hardware examples.
Technical Notes
- The Nexus 4 does not support OTG/USB Host and is not compatible with this application.
- No root access is required to use this app.
- When connecting a hard drive to a tablet, it is strongly recommended to use external power. Please refer to the troubleshooting guide on our website for more information. It is advised against connecting an unpowered hard drive to a phone.
